"I will never forget those 14 hours," Matt said of his girlfriend's labor. "We danced, sweated, hummed, laughed and cried. We were a real team. It was great." 
Katie Holmes has arrived in New York City ahead of her Broadway debut in Arthur Miller's "All My Sons." The actress was photographed around the Big Apple on Wednesday and Thursday. Previews for the show Holmes' Broadway debut start Sept. 18 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. The play also stars John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson and will officially open on Oct. 16. Holmes, 29, will be in the production for 16 weeks. She and hubby Tom Cruise plan to stay in the city during that time.
Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong broke up this weekend after a three month romance that went public when they were spotted in Austin, Texas in mid May. "There was no drama or ugliness - They just decided to end things," a source close to the couple informed. "There is no hatred, just sadness." The pair quickly became inseparable with sightings of them in Austin, New York and Los Angeles, though both dodged questions about their relationship. In the short time they were together, the 29-year-old actress was seen with the 36-year-old cyclist at many of his races and events, including his three-day Lance Armstrong Livestrong Summit in Columbus, Ohio this past weekend. Each had introduced the other to family. Hudson's mom Goldie Hawn gave what seemed to be her approval at a July 1 lunch at The Ivy at the Shore. Also, Hudson's four-year-old son Ryder went to a Father's Day brunch, with Armstrong and dad Chris Robinson in June.
Actress Anne Hathaway's personal diaries have been confiscated by the FBI as part of their ongoing investigation into 12 counts of wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering charged against her ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, the New York Daily News reported Thursday. Personal photos of the couple along with other documents and items including a Tiffany clock and an antique bible were also taken by the FBI, according to the paper. Hathaway, 25, dumped the 29-year-old Italian businessman days before he was arrested at the end of June. She has not been implicated in any of his alleged crimes. According to the United States Attorney's Office, Follieri misappropriated "hundreds of thousands of dollars in investor money to live a luxurious lifestyle, including expensive restaurants and clothes; dog walking services; an opulent apartment in Manhattan that leased for approximately $37,000 per month; medical expenses for his girlfriend at the time and his parents, including a 'house call' by Follieri's physician, which cost $30,000."
Christian Bale, star of the record-breaking "The Dark Knight," has been arrested by police in London who are investigating claims he assaulted his sister and mother, according to London's Press Association. Bale allegedly lashed out at this sister and mother in his hotel suite at Park Lane's Dorchester Hotel on Sunday. Bale's mother and sister made the formal allegation at a Hampshire police station Monday. Their complaint was then passed on to the Metropolitan Police to be investigated further. It came the day after Bale attended the first European screening in London of "The Dark Knight," the latest in the Batman franchise also starring the late Heath Ledger as the Joker.

Stoked by fan fever over the manic performance of the late Heath Ledger as the Joker, “The Dark Knight” set a one-day box office record with $66.4 million on opening day, Warner Bros. head of distribution Dan Fellman said Saturday. The movie’s Friday haul surpassed the previous record of $59.8 million set last year by “Spider-Man 3.” “The Dark Knight” might break the opening-weekend record of $151.1 million, also held by “Spider-Man 3.”
Actress Natalie Portman is snubbing her native New York and moving to America's west coast to be closer to her boyfriend, according to reports. The 27-year-old star met rocker Devendra Banhart on the set of his music video in March and the couple has been virtually inseparable ever since. And now Portman is moving to California to spend more time with Banhart at his Malibu home.
Hollywood couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are expecting their second child, confirms actor Victor Garber. Earlier this month, reports surfaced that the actress was pregnant but Affleck's spokesperson refused to confirm or deny the reports. But now Garner's former Alias co-star Garber, who officiated the couple's 2005 wedding, has confirmed the news. Another pal says, "She is five months pregnant. They are very happy." It has been reported that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have ended their custody fight for their two sons. Federline will reportedly get sole custody of their two son's, Sean Preston and Jayden James, while Spears will continue to have visitation rights, according to the agreement signed by both parties. Spears, 26, currently has monitored, twice-a-week visitation and one overnight visitation per week. Under the settlement, it is expected her visitation rights will be increased as time goes on. Earlier Spears lost visitation rights in January after she was hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Since then, she has been under the co-conservatorship of her father, Jamie Spears. 
Salma Hayek and the French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault the father of her daughter Valentina have called off their engagement. Hayek, 41, stated that she didn't feel the "need" to get married. The two kept their relationship low-key since meeting in Venice in May 2006. They revealed they were expecting around the same time they announced their engagement last March. Valentina was born last September. Valentina is the first child for Hayek; Pinault, 45, has two children from a previous marriage. Its hard to say that what will be the future of the little Valentina.
Mena Suvari got engaged to a canadian music producer/promoter Simone Sestito while vacationing in Jamaica. The couple met at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival while Suvari, 29, was promoting her film Stuck. Sestito is the founder and CEO of concert promotion company, ISSIMO. Suvari was previously married to 46-year-old cinematographer Robert Brinkmann. The actress will be seen in the movie "Murder in Sin City" with Matthew Modine due to launch in September.

Miss Venezuela was crowned Miss Universe 2008 on Monday in a contest marked by the spectacle of Miss USA falling down during the evening gown competition for the second year in a row. The new Miss Universe, "Dayana Mendoza", was once kidnapped in her homeland and says the experience taught her to remain poised under pressure. Mendoza, 22, is a 5-foot, 10-inch (178-centimeter), green-eyed beauty who enjoys learning languages and photography. She appeared at the news conference in the flowing yellow dress and dangling turquoise earrings that she wore during the evening gown competition in which Stewart took her spill. Miss Colombia finished second behind Mendoza. The NBC show was hosted by talk show star Jerry Springer and Spice Girl Melanie Brown and broadcast live to hundreds of millions of viewers in 170 countries. 
It has been reported that Angelina Jolie has given birth to twins, a boy named Knox Leon and a girl named Vivienne Marcheline. The boy, Knox Leon, weighed in at 5.03 lbs, while his twin sister, Vivienne Marcheline, weighed in at just 5 lbs according to the Associated Press. Jolie, 33, gave birth via a Cesarian section at the Lenval Hospital on the French Riviera, France on Saturday night. The actress checked into the hospital at the end of June via helicopter. Jolie is staying on the hospital's fifth floor which features an "unobstructed view" over the Bay of Angels. She reserved four rooms on the maternity ward, with a bodyguard keeping watch, according to the report. The twins are the fifth and sixth additions to the Jolie-Pitt family, which already includes Maddox 6, Pax 4, Zahara 3, and Shiloh 2. 
It was announced on 8th of July that a museum is due to open in Shanghai, commemorating the superb journey of Jackie Chan from his early beginnings in Hong Kong to his phenomenal worldwide mega-success in hollywood. After carefully surveying many possible locations for the museum, Jackie chose the Shanghai location himself. Displays will include costumes and props from his films, along with photos.The construction work for the museum is scheduled to be completed by October 2009. 
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban bought a new home for their new born daughter "Sunday Rose." The pair who welcomed their girl on Monday in Nashville have purchased a gated, five-bedroom, five-bathroom contemporary style home in Beverly Hills. It is reported that the house was selling for $4.7 million. The house, which offers 4,100 square feet and features a pool and grassy backyard, also has an existing baby nursery that was done for a little boy, but it can be easily changed for their little girl, the source adds. It is a very light home with floor-to-ceiling windows and lots of glass.
Mary Kate Olsen may br headed back to rehab but this time due to addiction problems. MK has been partying like a rock star for the past few months culminating in a recent shocking public drunken collapse. Star Magazine reports that Mary-Kate’s binging started right after the death of “her lover Heath Ledger died tragically from a drug overdose.” MK checked into a holistic health spa to detox after collapsing in a public parking lot last month, but it seems the natural way isn’t working for her. Friends say that MK’s behavior is putting a huge strain on her relationship with her sister Ashley as well. Once inseparable, the Olsen twins are rarely seen together.
Ethan Hawke wed former nanny, Ryan Shawhughes late last month. Last month the Newyork post reported that sources saw Hawke and Shawhughes, applying for a marriage license at the Municipal Building on Centre Street in New York City. Shawhughes met Hawke when she worked as a nanny, looking after his children with Uma Thurman. The two reportedly began dating following the Hawke's divorce from Thurman in 2004. Shawhughes is currently pregnant with the couple's first child together.
It is reported that Matthew McConaughey's Brazilian girlfriend has given birth to a boy named Levi. The child the first for McConaughey and model Camila Alves was born in Los Angeles on Monday evening. The child's name Levi is another name for the apsotle Matthew in the bible.
Will Smith's "Hancock", a story of a foul mouthed superhero, who dresses in an awkward fashion, led the 4th July weekend with a massive $66 million according to studio estimates. That raised the total for the movie to $107.3 million since it opened Tuesday night. "Hancock" is Smith's fifth movie to open at No.1, over the 4th of July. The others were "Men in Black" and its sequel, "Independence Day" and "Wild Wild West." Overseas, "Hancock" made an additional $78 million in 50 other countries.
Sources have reported that Britney Spears has been in close contact with photographer Adnan Ghalib. Adnan has been spotted numerous times over the past week, sneaking into the "Summit Circle", the posh gated community where Britney Spears lives. It was reported earlier that Britney ditched Adnan in March after finding incriminating texts on his mobile phone. Moreover Jamie Spears strongly disapproves of her daughter dating Adnan, yet no one knows what do these secret meetings entail to.
Legendary Pictures have confirmed that a follow up of the epic movie "300" is on its way. Frank Miller is supposed to be the writer and Zack Snyder is intended to direct. Miller is writing the graphic novel upon which this project is based. But a twist in this tale is that "Gerard Butler" who played the lead role as King Leonidas, died in the orignal movie, thus a follow up would be tricky.
